Planckian is developing the core technology to power utility-scale quantum computers.

By design, our chip architecture decouples control lines from qubit count, removing a key bottleneck in scaling. It combines the proven reliability of superconducting circuits with a breakthrough approach to qubit control, paving the way for quantum computers capable of solving the world’s most challenging problems.

We are seeking a Chief of Staff to act as a strategic partner to the leadership team.

What you'll be doing

1. Own the company's rhythm of business

   • Track OKR progress across the team and surface risks to LT

   • Run the company-level planning calendar: QBRs, board meetings, all-hands

   • Maintain internal documentation and knowledge management systems

2. Manage Finance & GA

   • Own budget tracking, monthly reporting and variance analysis

   • Manage statutory compliance, legal filings and regulatory requirements

   • Coordinate with external accountants and legal counsel

   • Support grant applications and public funding processes

3. Support Investor Relations

   • Prepare investor updates and board packs

   • Coordinate technical material drafting and presentations

4. People and Culture

   • Support hiring processes end-to-end : job briefs, candidate pipeline, interview coordination, offers

   • Manage onboarding, employment contracts, and employee relations

   • Coordinate performance review cycles and compensation benchmarking

Requirements

• Ex-management consultant or operator role at a Series A–C startup

• Strong in structure, process and written communication

• Financially literate: comfortable reading a P&L and managing a budget

• Proactive and self-directed

• Above all: high agency. You see what needs to happen and you make it happen, without being asked
